De Lucy House is a new, purpose-built home which opened in September 2015 and is set in an enviable position on the outskirts of the historic and picturesque town of Diss, on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk.
The home was the first new development from Greensleeves Homes Trust, the award-winning care charity whose mission is to deliver outstanding, high quality, care for older people.
The home is set in a very attractive location next to Diss golf course, and features high quality and comfortable accommodation, landscaped gardens and bright attractive communal areas. There are 60 bedrooms that all have en-suite facilities with showers which are located over two floors. The 30 rooms downstairs are for people living with dementia and the upstairs has been designed for residential care for 30 further residents.
The home is split into 4 houses of 15 bedrooms and all have their own dining room, kitchenette, lounge and conservatory or balcony. There are also a hairdressing room and cinema within the home.
De Lucy House has a dedicated, committed and passionate staff group whose aims is to provide a homely, safe, comfortable environment where people are treated as individuals in a dignified and respectful way.
