Eden Associate Training

‘The seeds of the Eden Alternative are planted in people’s hearts. It is, after all, with our hearts, rather than our eyes, that we see what is essential in this world’ (Dr. Bill Thomas – The Art of building a Human Habitat)

Eden Alternative training is highly interactive, maximising the involvement of all participants and building on their current experience. It can be delivered in a variety of ways depending on the requirements of the organisation or individual. These include

Eden Associate Courses

Associate Training teaches the ten principles of the Eden Alternative and gives specific suggestions and guidelines for putting them into practice. Also, it helps us learn about each other and create communities of support after we leave the training and go to work teaching, preparing for and implementing the Eden Alternative™ philosophy

It is this understanding that the Eden Associate training seeks to impart to participants who may include senior managers and other key personnel.  On returning to their organisation Associates are able to help staff, residents and their relatives interpret and adopt the principles of Eden on both an intellectual and emotional level.

Eden Associates have the support of a world wide network of Associates many of whom will have experienced and overcome issues associated with the introduction of the Eden Alternative into their facilities.

All those who complete the training will receive a certificate and will be registered on the EU Eden Associate Register. For further information about Eden Associates click here

Eden Associate Training In-house

Eden Associate Training can be very successfully delivered in-house. Many organisations have chosen this option. Training a group of senior staff or a cross section of all staff as Eden Associates has the advantage of generating levels of expertise throughout the organisation/home which accelerates the process of culture change.

What does it cost By negotiation

Eden Alternative Training Course (2 day)
